Abigail is an indie-folk singer-songwriter based in Sydney, Australia on Gadigal/Wangal land. She writes and performs heartfelt honest songs about love, loss, climate change, mental health and the human experience. Her shows involve soul bearing lyrics, beautiful acoustic guitar playing and witty interludes that surprisingly feel like a chat with your best friend. Abigail has been paving her way in the folk singer/songwriter scene, recently opening for Fanny Lumsden at her Country Halls Sydney show as well as Maggie Rigby (The Maes). Abigail was invited to showcase her original songs at the 2024 National Folk Festival.

Abigail will be releasing her 2nd EP ‘soon’ in May, followed by a regional NSW tour. She is known for her sweet, warm voice and her skilful guitar playing. She has been compared to Joni Mitchell, Missy Higgins and Kacey Musgraves.

In 2019 she proudly released her debut EP, ‘interwoven’ accompanied by a headline show. After performing and recording as much as she could between lockdowns she released her dual single: ‘Known’ featuring ‘More Than You Know’ and ‘Fully Known’.

Abigail regularly plays in Sydney and surrounding regions. Her favourite performances include: Marrickville Music Festival, Illawarra Folk Festival, Newstead Live, Quinty Folk Festival, Summer Hill Folk Festival, Gasoline Pony, Petersham Bowling Club, Butchers Brew Bar and the Courtyard Sessions at the Seymour Centre.
